Basically, a "friend" messaged me, telling me to vote for his csgo team, then sent me a link. Except, the link was not a https link(just http) and that it was something like we-play.tv instead of the authentic weplay.tv . Knowing it was a scam, I called him out for it and he immediately blocked me.
I've heard about this scam quite a few times before so I didn't fall for it and just messaged my friend through Discord, to confirm that his account was compromised.
