30 maj 2018 · A 2-deck 2-pole switch OR a 1-deck 4-pole switch - manages four channels of audio (quadraphonic). Buy a "single-deck, 2-pole" switch and you will be OK for your switchbox. The number of positions = the number of inputs you can use (see my previous post).
14 wrz 2024 · I’m looking for recommendation for a quality switch - minimum 4 RCA inputs and 1 RCA output. No need for volume control. Smaller is better. No added noise or sound coloring. Literally just switching between sources. I use it to switch between sources like CD player, turntable and tape deck.
14 kwi 2020 · Here is an alternative: Get the TC-7240 switching box from Amazon, about $120, with four inputs and two outputs. Put your turntables and digital inputs in as source choices and move back and forth with the outputs with one for the line level and the other the phono input.

13 kwi 2020 · If you still want to build a box, you'll need a metal box, six RCA jacks, some shielded wire, and a double pole, single throw switch. Wire the output jacks to the center terminals on the switch, turntable 1 to one set of outer terminals, and turntable 2 to the second set of outer terminals.
