The Banner® web interface, locally called WebSMART, is accessed by students and staff to conduct a variety of self-service tasks such as registration, payment of fees, faculty grading, etc. Banner® version 9 uses Oracle Release 12c as its database and is hosted in the Cloud on Linux servers.
