23 lip 2024 · When a user requests a new password, you receive a password reset request in email. Follow these steps to reset the password. In the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to the Users > Active users page. On the Active users page, select the user and then select Reset password.
17 gru 2015 · If you want to manually reset the user's password, by default it will use your current admin account's email address (the admin account you are currently logged in, so it is not a default option). But you can change it.
10 lis 2015 · Our Office 365 is not enabled to allow users to do self-service password reset. This means users use the password request process which generates a notification email to the admin. I would like to know which role manages the admin to receive this email.
Microsoft Accounts or personal email addresses don’t work here. Make sure you enter your work or school account (e.g. user@contoso.com). If you want to reset a Microsoft Account password, go to https://account.live.com/resetpassword.aspx

If you know your password, but just want to change it, go to account.microsoft.com Security tab, and select Change my password. If you know your username and password but they have stopped working, read My username and password have stopped working.
If you intend to change your email password, you must do that with your email provider (e.g., Microsoft 365, Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud, Xfinity, or a corp. Exchange server). Then you will need to update the password in Outlook.
