And there are three different types of competitions: Beauty Pageant, Cooking Competition, and Running Race, with the Stadium first being introduced to Webkinz in April 2008 with the Beauty Pageant only being available.

There is the Music Starz feature, but I think that's a different one than what you're remembering. Still good if you want to look over old Webkinz music videos and songs though!
