30 lip 2013 · In regards to glass quality, the weaver super slam glass is as good or better than anything in the under 1k price range. The only drawback about these scopes is that weaver is owned by ATK who's buying up everybody, which means customer service is spotty.
17 sty 2007 · I've been looking at these for awhile and they seem to be a pretty decent buy, especially since I can get one for under $400. I really like the power range. The 3x is about right for low end power for calling coyotes and deer hunting, and the 15x would be nice for long range paper punching.
23 gru 2013 · The 8.5x45 mm Super Slam I tested at Jeff Rann’s 777 Ranch in Texas is a high-end, roof-prism binocular. Sadly for us, at just over $1,000 retail, it’s actually in the “high-mid” level, considering top-end binoculars these days can cost up to $3,500. To me $1,000 is a lot to pay for anything, and so I hold the Super Slam to a high standard.

4 wrz 2014 · I prefer the capped turrets since this scope is on my SBR and will be used for short range hunting (0-250 yards). With a 50 yard zero, there is minimal point of impact shift at all ranges that can easily be held over/under and no risk of numping or turning a turret. The Super Slam has locking target turrets.
19 wrz 2011 · Quite often, one of the rifles has a Super Slam on it. So, lots of rounds have been fired with them.....zip problems with my Super Slams. Don't know about the new versions of Super Slams introduced within the last year, but it's definitely a scope I'd recommend to someone.
