The extremes for “Climate Station” are based on our single reference climate station, which is used for tracking of long term climate trends and is situated at location where environmental changes from human activities have been and are expected to remain at a minimum.
Past Climate Trends. Temperature. Singapore’s continuous temperature records since 1948 1 show that the island has warmed, notably in the mid-1970s when rapid urbanisation took place. Mean surface air temperature has risen by an average of 0.25°C per decade between 1948 and 2023.
