Energy consumption (electricity and gas): Watershed uses Julie’s Bicycle IG tools (via Energy Bank) to measure the environmental impact of its annual energy and water usage. The information is used to determine whether measures taken are effective in achieving the aim of minimising carbon emissions.
Around 38% of emissions analysed during this study are from utilities to run Watershed’s space (electricity including servers, gas and water). With direct control over our scope 1 and scope 2 emissions, this will be a priority focus for us in the coming years.
7 lut 2023 · Today, we’re announcing that Watershed customers can use a new type of virtual power purchasing agreement (VPPA) to directly add newly-built clean power projects to the grid. Stripe, Samsara, and TaskUs are among the first to participate, and Ever.green is facilitating the project.
