21 sie 2017 · Pumps do not have a "diffuser line," it has a diffuser which funnels the water to the impeller. Debris can get caught in it if you pump strainer basket is damaged. You may have air in the filter which needs to be released allowing max water flow through your system.

This diffuser (part number C1-258PCA) is for pumps. Diffuser C1-258PCA controls the flow of water leaving the pump. Disconnect electrical power before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
THIS IS A PLASTIC DIFFUSER USED IN VARIOUS STA-RITE DURA-GLAS PUMPS. THIS HAS 5 VANES ON THE BACK, EACH IS ABOUT 2-5/8" LONG. THERE ARE 5 REINFORCING VANES ON THE FRONT ALONG WITH 5 SCREW HOLES. THE INLET HAS A BRASS SLEEVE PERMANENTLY ATTACHED ON THE INSIDE. INCLUDES: DIFFUSER ONLY.
