Did you check JustWatch? If you have one of the many streaming services out there, these movies might've went over there.
The tools they have in place for searching are pretty abysmal, buy you can view the full list here. Darjeeling limited: The Best Wes Anderson film set on a train for a portion of the film. The Terminator: A classic that still holds up today. The great escape: A must watch 60s epic.
If you have letterboxd there are some good lists on there suggesting free movies on YouTube. Or if you can watch from a browser and enjoy a documentary then there are a few legal sites out there with some on (topdocumentaryfilms.com).
To be precise, the official YouTube Movies channel, which has two links for some reason (here and here). I'm not including Premium/Pay-to-watch ones, so I can guarantee these are legally available for free on YouTube in USA (use a VPN if you live outside USA) , just like YouTube Music is legal.
