I'd have Hulu on and flipping through channels and boom there's the game. If I'm powering up either console I'm likely going to play something instead, and it's just a pain to get the laptop out to watch the game, even if plugging it into the TV. Plus my new laptop doesn't have an HDMI port so there's another layer of annoying :(
I pay for the MLB.TV service because I want to watch the Yankees. If I want to watch all the games, I would need to get like 3 other streaming services AND cable in addition. The amount of games that are "restricted due to location" is so frustrating.

MLB.TV is out of the question since Yankees games would be blacked out. So far it's looking like he has to either subscribe to DirecTV Stream or get cable at disrespectful prices just to be able to watch Yankees games? Are there any other options?

I genuinely find it hard to enjoy Yankee games now because of this app. It's annoying the amount of apps you need, but that's not even the issue. At least Fox, ESPN, Amazon and Apple have apps that work once I cast the game to my TV.
coughlrf. • 3 yr. ago. Depends where you live. YES App is great but you need to have a cable subscription that already carries the channel i think. I watch live games on it and it works just fine. MLB.tv would be best if you live where the yankees are not blacked out.
