5 lip 2023 · Hi , Current OS version on my Series 3 watch was 7.x and i saw a update available for 8.8.1 when I tried to install it after downloading the updated software. its throwing an error - saying that "Error occurred during installation". 13 sie 2023 · I’ve purchased a used Apple Watch 2 (42mm) and I am unable to pair it to my iPhone 8. It says the watch software is out of date, but as soon as it attempts the update from the phone app, it says “Pairing Failed: Your Apple Watch couldn’t pair with your iPhone.” It then unpairs from the phone.

My AW6 had been great for a year or so, running all day long and only needing a brief charge when showering in the AM and again before wearing to sleep. Then, when I installed WatchOS 8.1, battery life went downhill fast -- running out of juice by like 6pm and needing longer to charge in the AM before leaving the house.
