23 kwi 2021 · So i recently got hit with 100k repair bill on my gear, and it got me thinking about what I can do to lower it. Does anybody know what impacts the repair cost the most? Is it level, quality or enchantment? Would 4.2 gear be cheaper to repair than flat 6?
I'm trying to make a spreadsheet that I can plug Item Value and Current Durability of any given item into and it will automatically calculate the repair cost. However, in a post I came across here from 2 years ago, someone said that the formula was I/7*D (I being Item Value, D being Durability Lost) which comes close to the cost, but it's off.
I am trying to do the math on just one item for now so maybe I can kinda see what cost would be around when looking at gear. As far as I know we should be repair the missing amount of durability, in my case 4% for this single item.

24 gru 2023 · I have read some older things saying that cost effective wise it's better to run 4.3-5.2 gear. Is this still true, and if not what gear is the most cost effective repairing wise? These 300k-500k repair bills are getting old.

Repair cost is based on the "item value" stat listed on the item. The item value stat is based on the tier and item type. Equivalent items (4.1 = 5) have the same cost. Quality does not effect repair cost (or item value stat) at all.
