Chapter 1. Rusty, a kittypet living with housefolk, has a dream about hunting a mouse in the woods and almost catching it. Rusty wakes up, and goes into the garden, sitting on the fence from where he can see the nearby forest. He decides to explore the forest. Smudge warns him about dangerous wildcats living in the forest.
For generations, four Clans of wild cats have shared the forest according to the laws laid down by their warrior ancestors. But the ThunderClan cats are in grave danger, and the sinister ShadowClan grows stronger every day. Noble warriors are dying - and some deaths are more mysterious than others.
I made a chronological order based on where each book ends. It might not be totally accurate compared to the wiki, but I figured for some books, like Leopardstar's Honor, ending partway through an arc should be placed where they end so they don't spoil the middle of a book you haven't gotten to yet.
9 sty 2003 · One fateful day, Rusty finds himself walking towards Thunderclan camp, a whole new world where wild cats fight as warriors under the warrior code. Medicine cats used their knowledge of herbs and cures to heal the wounded, and apprentices trained with their mentors to become full-fledged warriors.
