I wanted to use my rewards and I couldn’t checkout using Walmart Pay. Yup. It happens frequently. Check your linked cards. The app likes to drop some of the saved info (especially the three digit code) then gives this unhelpful error.
If it comes up after you hit total but before you use your app, that's a store issue. If it comes up after you try the app, that's a card issue, and you'll need to check your account to make sure you have the card you want as the default.
