Because the various subtests of the WAIS-R assess a variety of cognitive abilities, some of these will be discussed in more detail under specific cognitive domains.
The current version of the test and is comprised of the 10 core subtests and five supplemental subtests listed in the table below. In addition, a new index was added which was the General Ability Index, or GAI.
