17 sty 2017 · It seems to be a Verizon bug that instead of sending the text message in the body of the email it sends it as an attachment. It's safe to open the text attachment. Whether it's spam or not depends on who's sending it.

22 sty 2014 · I'm in a group chat with my friends and all of a sudden one of my friends text messages now go to my email (I use my iCloud email for iMessage). It's from an email address ** * 705@vzwpix.com and the other people in the group chat have their phone numbers as email addresses. How do I fix this?
When someone texts my email address with a picture instead of my phone number, I get an email from vzwpix.com. Sounds like iMessage isn't seeing the phone number in your contacts. Perhaps you contacts database is corrupt?
Searching old articles and sites, it appears that the functionality to send an email to [phone number]@vzwpix.com and have it sent to your phone as a text message was a feature of Pix Place, a picture hosting service Verizon used to offer.
10 cze 2021 · I sent messages from my Comcast.net account to both vtext and vzwpix, received immediately on my phone with NO issues. Yes, from my Gmail account it fails or is delayed (haven't received them yet). Appears it might be a Google Mail issue or should be troubleshot from that angle first.
4 lip 2023 · Looking at the error message that came into my phone - it is showing as if it tried to send as vtext, not vzwpix. So, you're forwarding text messages (with pictures) to email addresses using the Samsung messages app and having issues?
