Our volunteers are at the very center of what we do at 826, allowing us the incredible opportunity to work with more than 3,500 students a year from over 355 school across Chicago. Volunteers provide invaluable support to 826, most often through participation in educational programming.
Volunteers are needed for: serving as Saturday Institute and in-school program mentors; hosting job shadowing events; mentoring LOV alumni; helping prepare LOV girls for life after high school; and serving on the marketing, fundraising, or membership and engagement committees.
