10 wrz 2011 · If there is no voltage, the relay may be the problem. If you have a small battery (RC car battery works nicely) for testing, use the outer connections on the cover to the fuel pump to see if the pump operates when you apply current. Alternately, you can use a square 9V battery with a couple of leads from it.
30 paź 2012 · If you aren't getting power to the fuel pump when you try to start, you can visually watch the relay with the plastic cover pried off, to see if the contacts are closing. If they do, next check voltages.
1 maj 2024 · If you notice a problem with your fuel pump, such as no noise coming from it or your engine not starting, there could be a problem with the fuel pump relay, which controls the electric current running through the pump. Luckily, fuel pump relays are easy to test and replace on your own.
23 mar 2013 · This is the info I've found so far on that relay. Terminal 30 - power from Fuse S163. Terminal 31 - ground. Terminal 85 - to Engine Control Module. Terminal 86 - from ignition switch (D15) Terminal 87 - to fuel pump circuit - Fuses S228, S232, S234, & S243. Terminal C - from crash signal circuit.

26 lis 2011 · I need to test my fuel pump and relay. I found how to test the relay with a multimeter, so that's all set. I also found how to test the fuel pump with a multimeter by measuring the resistance across two terminals to see if there is a voltage (finite resistance) or a lack thereof (infinite resistance).
12 lip 2009 · The best check of the relay coil is to apply power and ground, see if it clicks. While testing for clicks, check for closed or open connections across the contact points as applicable to the particular relay being tested.
