Myquals - Gave 12th boards in 2022 results awaited, got allotted VIT Chennai CSE with specialisation in Cyber Physical Systems (Category 2). I wanted to know, from students at the uni, how is VIT Chennai in terms of placements and academics.
I'm a bit skeptical if I should join VIT as they're asking for the fees too early. I have written SNU Chennai exam as well. I will write SSN exam for management quota admission if I don't join VIT, but I can't confirm if I can get admission there.
Imo VIT is good for CSE, IT and ECE only for placements. Mechanical branches get mediocre placements here like any other college (Yes, even IITs). For automob/mech, I'll suggest you to aim for good NITs.
