5 lip 2012 · How can I install Microsoft Service Pack 1 on my Windows Vista Home Premium PC (32-bit operating system)? Service Pack 1 has repeatedly failed to install over the past 3 years. Every time I try now I get error code 3701.
Download and run the off-line version of Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (or the all languages version) from the Microsoft Download Center. This will take longer to download and install than using Windows Update, but is officially supported.
Standalone .exe installers for Vista Service Pack 1 (KB936330, released March 2008) and Service Pack 2 (KB948465, released May 2009) are still available for download from the Microsoft Update Catalog at the following links:
