Have you power cycled the modem at some point? Depending on how the cable modem provider has their system configured, the cable modem may lock on to the MAC address of a device, and only issue IPs to that MAC. It needs to have the power pulled before connecting to another device.

26 kwi 2023 · Try using a different power outlet. Use an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) to protect your router from power outages. Make sure that you’re using the power adapter that came in the box with your router. Reset your router to factory default settings.
