Auto hibernation: make sure auto-hibernate feature only happens when hibernatemode is set to 3. (Never with mode 0 or 25). Fix minor typos in code and debug log. Plus better formatting.
22 lip 2010 · A common cause of hibernation issues is that some device isn't playing nice and wakes up your computer immediately. In particular, Logitech devices have been known to do this. Open the device manager and check the properties of various devices, especially keyboards, mice and other external devices.
8 paź 2023 · HibernationFixup is amazing with its settings, allowing you to choose the minimum battery percentage to trigger direct entry into S4, and it worked wonderfully. I even have old logs from August showing successful hibernation and everything recorded in the logs.
Then reboot and switch to desired mode with e.g. sudo pmset -b hibernatemode 3 — b here is for battery, see more about pmset here. 3 is normal mode — laptop would go to sleep but save memory to disk just in case, 25 forces hibernation instead of sleep.
