7 gru 2009 · With my naivety, I changed this path and need to get the original path but cannot find where the .ima file exists (or whichever boot file I need from Vista to make a bootable DVD). Can anyone explain where I can find it?
You can borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD (Retail or OEM System Builders License) , that contains the files for the various Vista Editions (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) to be installed. The Product Key on your Computer / Laptop case determines which Edition is installed.
Click on the browse for a file icon next to “Boot Image:” and select the etfsboot.com file in the {Drive}:\{path}\Vista\Boot folder. You may need to select “All files…” in the file requester drop down if the etfsboot.com file doesn’t show.
25 gru 2013 · You just download the exe and two .wim files from digital river (the files given in the beginning of this thread) and then run the exe file to create the vista directory. Then you use IMGBRN exactly as they say in the help topic to create the bootable dvd from the vista directory.

26 lip 2009 · Enable the 'Make Image Bootable' option. Set the 'Emulation Type' to 'None (Custom)'. Point the 'Boot Image' to the 'etfsboot.com' file within the 'boot' folder in your source folder - i.e. "T:\VISTA_INSTALL\boot\etfsboot.com"
