Honest reviews on the Model Y. Hey all, I’m looking into purchasing a model Y and I’ve been trying to find some reviews of of people’s experiences, but they are either totally trashing the car (build quality, suspension,etc.) or they have no complaints whatsoever .
I did a brain dump into what to buy your model Y. I got the screen protector not so much for protection, but to reduce fingerprints and glare (I went with matte finish) and it works well for that purpose. I'd wait on the lightning mods to see how you like the standard lights once you get the car.
I ordered my 2021 Tesla Model Y on February 27, and it got delivered to my house on March 05. VIN 139XXX. It's the Long Range, Midnight Silver Metallic, 20" Induction wheels, white interior, Full Self-Driving, but no tow hitch or third row.
29 lip 2020 · On the fence about paying the $3k CAD (taxes in) for the Acceleration Boost on the Model Y Long Range. Have heard lots of positive reviews, but I'm worried those people may be the only ones posting. Has anyone bought the upgrade and regretted it?

Contrary to most of the responses here, I definitely regret buying it. Got delivery around a month ago and on the first drive home, it threw a bunch of error codes while on the freeway. Was unsafe to drive and no regen braking, manual braking was ineffective as well. Manual brake pedal would pulsate unable to stop the car.
