15 sie 2021 · Microsoft has apparently ended Windows 7 ISO downloads. But you had to have a Retail or System Builders product key anyway. Windows 7 does not come for free, even to use in a VM.
29 mar 2011 · This option shows you how to use the free program Speccy to see what the product key number is from within a Windows 7 that it has already been entered in (ex: activated). Speccy will not show the product key number for Windows 7 Enterprise though.

3 sie 2021 · You can use SLMGR.VBS to reinstall the key and attempt activation - sometimes this works. Also - I’d call the helpline - they may be able to help. However, since WIndows 7 is past EOL, I suspect you are out of luck and I suggest looking at updating to Windows 10. The error code is 0x80072f8f.
