14 lis 2004 · I just thought I would share my opinion on the latest Viking 7 Qt. mixers. Don't bother spending $500 on this puppy. It is weak and gutless, my whip has broken twice, it's loud as hell, and overheats. I can whip cream faster by hand! I really wish I hadn't bought it and had instead purchased a Kitchenaid 6Qt. D'ohh!

8 sie 2007 · I bought the Viking 7 quart about 6 months ago. I love the big capacity, but I've been disappointed with the power. At low speeds it struggles and makes grinding and rattling noises like it's not going to be able to do the job (especially with buttercream).

30 gru 2011 · I have always heard the best mixer for kneading bread dough is the Bosch. The motor being directly below the bowl offers more power for kneading, thus less susceptible to the common gear issues with stand mixers. They can still whip, cream, etc. like stand mixers, and also have grain attachments.
