Adopt A Pet. Los Angeles County Animal Care Centers are located in Downey, Carson/Gardena, Baldwin Park, Lancaster, Castaic, Palmdale and Agoura. Over 60,000 animals each year enter our animal care centers, and many are wonderful pets in need of new homes.
The adoption fee for a dog, cat or other animal includes vaccinations, microchip, and spay or neuter if not already altered when it came to the care center. Check our website and social media to find out about any adoption promotions during which fees are discounted.
