14 mar 2016 · I considered the Mark II VG model, marketed by a Canadian company in B.C., yet design didn't convince me entirely, it's too bulky and dolphin-like round fin. Dealership retails the OEM shark fin for CAD 500 plus tax, with the explicit warning of not fitting any other trim than an SX (Big lie).
18 cze 2010 · 1. remove antenna stick. 2. clean around antenna base with dawn dish soap (if you have waxed your car) or rubbing alcohol if not. 3. visually align sharkfin and make sure it doe not touch antenna base. 4. place painters tape in front and back of sharkfin when aligned to your satisfaction.
27 lis 2009 · Looks like the guys at VG have completed development of the sharkfin replacement antenna. Anyone that had palced an order previously or signed up at the website for more info should have recieved a "pre-order" email this morning.
The Mark II VG Shark Fin Antenna was developed specifically for vehicles that have an AM/FM rear-roof whip antenna and a Sirius/XM/GPS/Navigation chip-set antenna integrated into the antenna base.
24 lis 2011 · For those that don't know, the Mark II is wider than the regular Mark I VG shark fin so that it fits over the Ford antenna block without modifying the block. It is still considered a pre-release model.

2 sie 2013 · Anyone install that VG Mark II shark fin antenna to replace the mast antenna? Looks good and very easy to install but does it work well?
