My current phone (iPhone 12 pro max) is already paid off and I’m looking to trade it in for the $800 towards a new phone but I was reading some pretty negative reviews on a Verizon community page about peoples experience with this trade-in offer that’s made me hesitate.
28 lip 2021 · I went to a Verizon store and ended up getting a new phone and switching over from ATT. The main reason for switching was for the trade-in promo. They promised $800 even if the phone is damaged. I had a Samsung S10+ with a cracked back plate. That's all.
21 paź 2016 · I got an offer to trade in my iPhone 6s 64GB for $650 credit towards the iPhone 7. My phone was in like new condition. Zero screen defects, and zero scratches. Tonight I receive an email stating Verizon was giving me a $146.50 credit towards my iPhone 7. I have been a Verizon customer for 16 years.
I ported 4 lines over earlier this month and purchased 4 new phones from Verizon. I also traded in 2 phones, an LG G7 and an LG G8. Verizon overed $400 for each phone which was great to offset the costs to switch carriers. I received the shipping boxes and sent both phones off.

23 gru 2019 · I I am very disappointed in the trade in process that Verizon wireless has conducted on my trade in. I feel as I have been cheated and scammed. There was no damage to the screen or the device as it asked and I was offered $550 based on what I answered.
26 sty 2014 · I have to agree with other customers who describe the Verizon Trade-in Program as a scam. I was encouraged by a Verizon Wireless CSR to trade-in my iPhone 4s to mitigate the cost of an early upgrade to iPhone 5s.
