Velvet tango room is an unassuming, unique, jazz cocktail bar. My friends and I came on a Friday night, and were able to be seated at the high tops without a reservation. I really love how they have a satisfaction guaranteed policy, to encourage patrons to branch out and try more cocktails.

The owner is warm and charming and has a show of presenting bananas foster with flambe. There is a fireplace and EXCELLENT musicians in the house. Definitely, special occasion -like Chez Francoise in Vermillion. It takes a lot to pull off magic and the Velvet Tango Room succeeds.
