VDO Marine has supplied solutions for pleasure boats, yachts and sailing boats since 1958. In 2018, Veratron was established and took over the existing team, having produced VDO Marine products since 1972.
The new name is Veratron VDO Marine. The company is based in Ruthi Switzerland and produces systems, instruments, sensors and parts for the marine market. The well-known VDO ViewLine series, which succeeded the OceanLine series in 2009, is produced and delivered by Veratron.

I. Installing the VDO Universal Temperature Sender. There are three bushings included in this kit – one is 1/4-18 NPT; another is 3/8"-18NPT; and the third is 1/2"-NPT. The fitting on the sender itself is 1/8-18NPT. Decide which bushing, if any, you will need to adapt the sender to the opening in your engine block.
