VBOX HD units can log up to 32 channels from a connected CAN bus system. Note that the unit must be set up to read set parameters using VBOX HD Setup software (see software manual for more details).
You can fix most problems with lost files by right clicking on the card in Windows explorer and selecting ‘Propeties’ – ‘Tools’ – ‘Error checking’ tick both boxes, and click ‘Check now’. Always wait for the logging light to stop flashing before removing the SD card or USB device. You can force the box to close the file using the REC button.
Configuring the Video VBOX LITE to use a Micro/Mini Input Module. The Video VBOX LITE can be connected directly to a vehicle CAN bus (with the correct cable), if this is not possible you can connect various vehicle sensors such wheel speed sensors, RPM, throttle etc.
The VBOX Micro input module is a general-purpose input module and comes in two versions designed for use with either the PerformanceBox or VBOX products. Communication with connected units is via RS232 to the PerformanceBox range (including VBOX Mini) and via CAN to any other VBOX product.
