7 paź 2021 · If you only specify a macro name, it will check the current folder for docx files: py run_macro.py "name_of_my_macro". If you also include a path to a file or a folder, it will use this instead. py run_macro.py "name_of_my_macro" "C:\path\to\folder". py run_macro.py "name_of_my_macro" "C:\path\to\word.docx".
You can try using pywin32 to run the macro. You could also just skip the macro and do this using python-docx. Use glob to find all docx files in the directory, loop the docs, open each one, count the words, add count to list, write list to a new word doc.
