26 wrz 2024 · Flights under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) are always required to file a flight plan, whereas flights under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) have the option to do so. On VATSIM, it is important to note that once a flight plan has been edited by a controller, the pilot can no longer modify it themselves!
Just some rule of thumbs to make it easier for you in the start: Don’t pick/file departure and arrivals if there is atc. They will assign based on your route. Also they are dependent on the waypoint and runway, so you always pick or decide on it last.

Download Sky Demon light or Plan G for flight planning. Sky Demon has VFR points built into their maps which is helpful for plannings. I’ll then plan my route in a route planning app (Little Navmap) and use OVR toolkit to display it inside the cockpit when I fly in VR.
14 lut 2022 · I'm not sure about A320 FMS, but unless I'm going Direct, IFR flight plans in the FMC / FMS need at minimum an origin and destination airport. Then program in your departure (SID) procedure / runway / transition. Then your enroute waypoints / airways.
