The VATSIM Code of Coduct encourages pilots to file a VFR flight plan: B10 - All pilots flying IFR shall submit a flight plan before flight. The IFR flight plan must contain, at a minimum, the aircraft callsign, departure airport, arrival airport, aircraft type, and requested route.
21 lip 2024 · I just tried to create a flight plan using Simbrief and it says it is approved. I can upload it into my tablet in my A32NX, so that is one step into the correct direction, but some of the waypoints are not in the MCDU, like Z739.
Hello, I want to try and get into vatsim and start flying VFR routes. Does anything have any tips and tools for planning routes and getting started? I hear Plan G is quite good for maps and vPilot client for communication.
When you file a flight plan, ATC will make sure your flight plan is realistic (using Flight Aware's IFR route analyzer for example). ATC will also assign a runway as you get closer to the destination airport.
