The front baffle features a vertical array of three drive-units beneath a substantial cloth-covered grille that provides the appropriate acoustic environment.
29 sty 2015 · Here's an update. Bought a pair of demo Quatro (not-CT) from a dealer in OH. They are getting settled in and already sound great. I'll use the Vandertones test files and my SPL meter to adjust the subs. Wonder if Vandersteen will offer an upgrade path for Quatro Wood to Quatro Wood CT?
20 lut 2022 · I am between purchasing a used 5a or spending more money on a newer Quarto Wood CT. I don't know what's the better option because the quarto would have the newer carbon tweeter, but I have a feeling the 5a's would have retailed for more than the quarto CT even before the carbon tweeter version.

I own a pair of Vandersteen Quatro CTs. They are driven by a Bryston 4bsst2 power amp with an Audio Research LS-15 tubed linestage. I listen to all types of music and find the Vandersteen to be excellent with all the music I like. They are the most "listenable" speakers I have ever owned.
