9 maj 2022 · I own 1Cs and run with Linn pre and power amp and connect via Transparent Plus cables/interconnects. Power cords are Harmonic Technology and Shunyata. I've used different electronics and cabling over the years, and did not experience treble issues with the 1's.

9 maj 2022 · He's identified YBA/Vandersteen as giving a hint of what Audio Note can do and he's also upgraded his YBA amp with AN wire, solder and binding posts which boosted its performance even further. He's been right so far with all his gear recommendations, so I have confidence his YBA upgrade is sound.
19 paź 2010 · There is something pretty magical about the synergy between the 1C's and quality tube amplification, so you'll probably be very happy with the Vandersteen -- McIntosh combination. Do a search on Audiogon for Vandersteen, and you'll find a wealth of nice threads about these terrific speakers.
