USA - Great medium tanks! Early stabilisers and excellent gun depression (for most tanks) Quite expensive USSR - great from around Rank 5+, ERA is quite good at protecting crew. Great for brawling, limited fun depression but quite affordable to play (compared to USA)
1 sie 2018 · I'd recommend going with whoever sounds better to you. If you intend on playing until top tier, then I'd say USA, but if you wanna just play some WW2 / early Cold War tanks, USSR is great as well.
For USA I have late rank 3 planes and late rank 3 tanks. Both are incredible fun to play but I want focus on only one to play currently (I understand some may say to play tanks for one and planes for another but I just want one).
Us has better tanks at top tier but russia has like 10 top br tanks so you'll last way longer in the match with them if you grind a lot of vehicules. IMO, USA has a bit more versatile lineups and play-style, USSR kinda plays the same with all the T72's, T55, T62's, T64's.
7 lut 2024 · For Tanks, the T80 is the abrams but better, same top speed but better front, side, and top armor. Abrams has a better APFSDS but is that important when war thunder matches devolve into a head on slug fest where you're shooting each other at only 200 meters?
Which faction would be most fun to play among US, USSR, and Germany? Also, what are some of best premium tanks among these three factions? Kind of depends on your play style, what mode(s) you're interested in and a few other factors.
19 cze 2024 · In this post, I will compare IS-2 series tanks with Tiger 2 (P) and T34. USSR tech tree features IS-2 series tanks at rank 4: IS-2 and IS-2 (1944), which have BR of 6.3 and 6.7 respectfully. Those tanks have huge 122 mm main gun, with moderate penetrating ability, compared to Tiger || (P) and T34 tanks.
