19 kwi 2018 · I have a V Star 950 fitted with the OEM hard leather panniers. I have only had the bike for a few months but am wanting to fit a passenger backrest for my wife. The Yamaha quick release backrest will of course fit the best but is way over priced.
21 kwi 2014 · My GF loves the Givi E450 plus backrest pad on my '13 650. The pad is probably optional, but she really needs to feel supported especially when we're accelerating and I didn't mind spending the extra dough in case it helped.
27 mar 2022 · Here's an interesting thread about a fabricated backrest bracket, for a removable backrest. It uses the OEM passenger backrest pieces, the two side grab handles, and a home-made bracket for the Corbin passenger backrest pad. It uses the OEM Yamaha luggage rack too.
