1 lip 2018 · The GLIAC features 12 member institutions from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Wisconsin, sponsoring 21 NCAA Division II sports. Founded in 1972, the GLIAC has developed into one of the most nationally competitive athletic conferences, both on the field and in the classroom.
The Rangers compete as members of Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) for 12 of 13 sports; the wrestling team competes in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). UW–Parkside has been a member of the GLIAC since the 2018–19 school year, at which time it adopted its current athletic branding as "Parkside".
UW–Parkside is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Varsity sports for men and women include soccer, basketball, track, golf, and cross country.
Parkside Ranger Athletics began its second year in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) with the announcement that Andrew Gavin, Director of Athletics, had signed a five-year contract extension through 2024.
