The Washington Park Arboretum holds a world class collection of woody plants that can be explored on your own, via group tours, or through classes and activities. All parts of the Washington Park Arboretum, with the exception of the Japanese Garden, are open to the public and are free of charge.
Parking. Very limited free parking is available for the public in several areas. Access lots at the Graham Visitors Center and the Japanese Garden.

Parking. Citations. All parking citations must be fully paid or contested within twenty (20) calendar days from issuance. Please reference the designated citation number on your ticket when contacting Transportation Services. Parking and traffic rules are listed in Washington Administrative Code 478-116. 22 paź 2024 · Our partners at UW Botanic Gardens offer free monthly walking tours of the Arboretum on the first Thursday of each month (January through November), from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The tours are led by trained guides and focus on seasonal topics of interest and special plant collections.
