The DC Board of Dentistry regulates the practice of dentistry and dental hygiene in the District. The Board evaluates qualifications, administers exams, and recommends standards and procedures. Moreover, the Board issues licenses, receives and reviews complaints, requests investigations, conducts hearings, and issues an annual report.
The DC Board of Dentistry allows all CE requirements, including CPR certification, to be satisfied through online courses. Exams may be conducted using non-patient based exams. See links to relevant DC regulations below.
To be considered for admission to our School you will need to fulfill the following requirements at a US- or Canadian-accredited college: Take the Dental Admission Test by the November 1 deadline. Complete the required courses listed prior to matriculation. Required courses by semester.
