For the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program, we set the bar high for our applicants. Below is a list of prerequisite courses you will need before starting our program. All required science classes must be for science majors and include a laboratory component.
Earn a required minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in science and overall in undergraduate course work. Complete and submit a CASPA online application. Submit your TOEFL scores to be received by September 1 if you’re an international student. Complete all prerequisite courses by the date the application is submitted.

Applicants to the Physician Assistant Studies Program are required to have a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. or Canadian institution prior to matriculation. Three letters of reference are required with the application.

It is emphasized that a physician assistant (PA) is a nationally certified and state-licensed medical professional who practices medicine on health care teams with physicians and other health care professionals.
