7 maj 2024 · I am deeply saddened to share that we lost a member of our community yesterday, likely by suicide. Our hearts are broken for this student, his family and all who knew and loved him. A loss like this is so painful and, when unexpected, can feel even more confusing.
Membership Information. The “Spirit of San Antonio” will perform a standard pre-game show, 4-5 different halftime shows, play a vast variety of stand tunes, maintain UTSA traditions, while at the same time promoting a positive learning and social environment for its members.

The UTSA University Band includes between 60-80 members and maintains an active 3-concert schedule each semester, performing a wide variety of works written for the concert band medium. Membership consists of both music majors and non-music majors.
Directed by Prof. Hector Garcia, the UTSA University Band is the university's campus-wide concert band ensemble, drawing its members from both music majors and non-music majors throughout the Roadrunner community.
