MyStatus offers applicants secure, individualized information from initial application submission to the final admission decision and beyond. Use it to track the receipt of submitted application materials, to upload required supporting documents, to confirm that your application file is complete, and to get your decision.
Applicants to graduate programs at The University of Texas at Austin should complete the appropriate application for admission. Please note that applications can take up to 72 hours to load to the University of Texas at Austin system after submission of the application form.
Applicants for admission to the School of Law can check their application stats using the School of Law's Applicant Dashboard. Your application status can be found on the MyStatus page. Per the Office of Admissions: MyStatus offers access to information about admissions, honors, housing, financial aid and more.
Your Application Status After you have completed your application, the Office of Graduate Admissions will evaluate and forward your materials to the graduate program to which you’re applying. Find out how to check the status of your application, including your decision notification.
To meet the final deadline, you must self-report* your score via the official MyStatus form by December 11, and your official test score must be received by December 31. *Please note that self-reported test scores on Common App or a transcript are not accepted.
If you submitted a full application (application fee, official test scores, online application, etc.), you may check on your status through your MyStatus check page. The Department sends acceptance and financial aid award letters only to those who are admitted.
