1 lis 2015 · Did see any Windows Updates installed recently? Did you check the issue by restarting your PC? Usually the issue will be fixed by restarting your PC, post complete shutdown. If it doesn't try to remove the pinned app from the taskbar and Pin them back to the taskbar to see if they help.

10 mar 2022 · After the last update, some of my taskbar icons are missing. The apps themselves are still there, it's just that the space where the icon should be is all black. The ones affected are: Mail, iCloud and Voice Recorder. I have tried unpinning and resetting but the result is still the same.
4 paź 2023 · Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar. In the right pane, double-click on Remove pinned programs from the Taskbar. Set it to Disabled or Not Configured and save changes. After doing that, check if pinned items still disappear on Windows 10. Read more about this topic.

The easiest way to resolve this issue is to unpin and repin the faulty app. To get started, right-click the pinned taskbar app and select Unpin from taskbar. Next, type the app’s name on the Windows search bar. Right-click the Best match result and select Pin to taskbar. 2. Reinstall or Update the App.
1 wrz 2015 · User Pinned is normally a folder with the hidden attribute set on, unhide hidden files&folders (maybe also system protected) on Explorer - View - Options ... or just type that path directly on the address. Some ICONs of the TaskBar are not located on: %AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar.
4 maj 2017 · Few days after updating, pinned apps on the taskbar disappeared. I have been trying fixing this weird behavior by doing some workarounds: Repinning one of the apps. All the pinned apps appear, but after the laptop restarts, they are gone again. Restarting Explorer. Same behavior as above.
