Hardiness Zones, also referred to as Growing Zones or Planting zones are defined by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS). The zones in this map were created in 2023 using mean extreme climate data covering the period of 1991 to 2020.
Sunset, Florida Hardiness Zones. According to the 2023 USDA Hardiness Zone Map Sunset, Florida is in Zones 11a (40°F to 35°F). This is a change from the 2012 USDA Hardiness Zone Map which has Sunset in Zones 10b (35°F to 30°F).
