1 paź 2024 · I have a MacBook Pro 2019 (16 inch) and none of my USB-C ports read data from devices eg 3 x compatible adapters, iPhone, Android phone, USB sticks, 2 x headsets. The ports charge up my laptop and devices charge/light up but nothing displays in disk utility, system report or in finder.

This becomes even more important if you're using a USB-C hub so you can connect other peripherals and accessories to your Mac.
