29 lut 2016 · If a red light is visible in the audio-out port when sound should be playing, the internal switch is stuck in the position for digital output. You may be able to free it by inserting and removing a mini-stereo jack of the proper size.
30 gru 2015 · I've just bought the brand new 13" Retina Macbook pro. I'd like to hook it up to my USB DAC (An Audio Engine D1) When I plug in the USB to the Macbook it doesn't pick up anything. I've restarted the laptop to no effect. Nothing is being displayed in the Output section of Sound in System Preferences.

21 mar 2022 · The speakers on my Mac Air stopped working abruptly. In System Preferences, under Audio, the build-in speakers are no longer listed. It says "no output devices found". Its running on Catalina v 10.15.6. Any help would be truly appreciated.
Open Sound settings for me. Click Output, then select the device you want to use in the list of sound output devices. All sound output devices available to your Mac are listed, including the computer’s internal speakers, devices plugged into your computer’s sound port (), USB speakers, and AirPlay devices.
8 kwi 2011 · Most of the time if you pause the application accessing the USB audio device and reselect USB audio in the audio control panel you will regain access to the USB audio device. Rarely will you need to get out of the application and restart it. This is an issue with OS 10.6.7.
